Important Privacy Distinction: Files vs. Cookies

Your uploaded images, documents, and signatures are never converted into cookies or sent to any server. File processing happens exclusively inside your browser's volatile RAM memory and is cleared immediately upon closing or refreshing your browser tab.

1. Strictly Necessary & Theme Preferences (Local Storage)

We use HTML5 localStorage to remember your UI color theme preference (Light or Dark mode). This contains no personal identification data and never leaves your browser.

2. Third-Party Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)

To keep SizeIncreaser 100% free with unlimited usage, we display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its certified ad technology partners may set cookies on your browser to measure ad impressions and serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

3. Aggregate Performance & Reliability Telemetry

Anonymous

We measure anonymous technical parameters (e.g. browser WebAssembly support, average compression execution time) to diagnose browser incompatibilities and improve processing speed. No document contents or IP identifiers are ever linked to these metrics.

4. Ephemeral In-Browser File Handoff (IndexedDB)

Temporary (10 Min Max)

When you use the "Send to Size Increaser" button in privacy or metadata tools, your file is temporarily stored in your browser's private client-side IndexedDB database. It is instantly deleted upon retrieval or automatically purged after 10 minutes. It is never uploaded to any server.

5. Anonymous Session Activity (Session Storage)

Session Only

Anonymous processing counters (e.g., total files sized in the current session) are stored strictly in your browser's sessionStorage. This is erased immediately when you close your browser tab.

How to Manage or Opt Out
